Gareth Pugh is a British fashion designer. The first thing you need to know about Gareth Pugh is that he studies the rules of society so that he can break them. His extravagant, sleek, asymmetrical Avant Garde outfits are not simply showy for the sake of being showy - they are statement pieces. Everything from religion, to conservatism, to traditional values, to modern beauty standards, to sexualization,  and many other taboo subjects are critiqued heavily in Pugh's fashion.
