Season 8
Contestant Progress
The placements of each individual contestant will be shown on this page, and will be updated weekly.

Don't Get Discouraged...
Zechariah (HerbyMainsted) lost on Week 1 in Snawlterm Season 5. He would go on to win Season 7.
Filip (Lidl-Wayne) lost Week 1 in CorpeTerm. He would then place 5th in Season 5, and 2nd in Season 7, as well as host a series of successful LTs of his own.
Emily (Barbuda) lost Week 2 in Ice-Ssus. She would go on to win IceTerm.
Peter (Razzing) lost Week 2 in Season 6. He would go on to finish 4th in Season 7, 3rd in Lidlterm 2, and 4th in Lidlterm 3.
Joey (Jozinga) landed bottom 2 on the first week of Season 4 - he would go on to place 2nd in the same longterm.
Harri (Uhu.) landed bottom 3 on the first week of Season 6 - he would go on to finish 2nd.
I myself lost Week 5 in Ice-Ssus and Week 4 in All-Stars. I would go on to win Ice-Lay, and place 2nd in both Lidlterms 2 & 3.

The PR community is full of redemption stories. One or two bad weeks doesn't define a designer. One early elimination is not an indication of your ceiling. Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot. Don't let an idiot stomp out your fire.
The Cast of Season 8
Revealed in no special order
*If you don't like the avatar I used for you, send me the one you prefer and I'll change it at my earliest convenience
Nate // Pine
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
I cast Nate in Snawlterm Season 8 because he has a unique understanding of pixel fashion. Most newer designers are under the impression that more is more, or that they need to fritter away with gimmicks until they come across something "different." While originality is unquestionably important in this game, I have taken notice of how Nate can create gorgeous outfits with seemingly few articles. He may be new and not have the same instant name recognition as some of his competitors, but I believe Nate is one to watch out for. Good luck!

Nicole // nicrobbo95
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
Despite the incredibly nooby username, Nicole's intuitive designing has transcended her lack of experience and made her arguably the loudest "new gen" designer to watch out for. She seems to have acquired an understanding of trends, techniques, and colour theory with very little time & effort. I believe Nicole is a natural - if there is such thing as being a natural at Habbo fashion. Due to her timezone difference, Nicole seldom plays short-terms. I am more than happy to platform her in this long-term to treat myself to her designs.

Marq // EagerGamin
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
Marq has only played one of my short-terms, and that right there was a strike against him. However, after watching his short run in FreshFaces, I fell in love with his bold style and firmly believe he is the most misunderstood contestant of that game. No shade to the hosts, they have to eliminate people to keep the game moving at a steady pace. For my money however, Marq has a lot more to offer. He won 3 tasks in that aforementioned short-term, and seems enthusiastic about partaking in Season 8. Okay Marq, we see you. Show us what you got.

Max // Okeefinokee
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
I have been trying to get Maxwell into a Snawlterm since Season 3 or 4. Despite tearing up the occasional short-term with refreshing style and innovative clothing inspired by concept art and outside media, Max has just never been allured by the beckon of a long-term. So when I asked Max to partake in Season 8, I knew the answer was going to be no. It seems like he finally took pity on my incessant begging, because this time he did not say no.
This must be how fishermen feel when they reel in a record-breaking catch. Despite my glee, I do not intend to go easy on Max at all, or judge him on a curve. It's fair game!

Xav // Xav.Smi712
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
I've only known Xav for about a month; he is by far the newest and least experienced designer entering Season 8. What he lacks in experience however, he more than makes up for in passion. In the month I've known him, he's stayed up late to partake in several games based outside his timezone - and he's done damn good in them too! Like most new designers, Xav's style is very boisterous and bright. I believe if he hones his skill and works a bit on refining for the runway, he will take this community by storm.

Elysse // LC22
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
Elysse joined the PR community about a year ago. Since then she has won two of my short-terms, placed 8th in the incredibly stacked Lidlterm 3, has hosted her own highly successful LT - FreshFaces, and has commemorated many others' artwork by making astonishing drawings of them. For me, Elysse's name was the biggest "No duhh!" when I was initially deciding who to cast in Season 8. She exemplifies everything I love about Habbo fashion: camaraderie, passion, a love for learning, a desire for expressive outlets, and a yearning for community. All in all, we don't deserve Elysse, do we?

Zoetic // Slur/Rights
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
Zoetic dominated Project Runway and was a force to be reckoned with. . . but this was back in the early 2010s. Zoetic made their return to Habbo PR in early 2022 and got stuck playing catch-up. Despite the almost decade long absence, Zoetic has done a stellar job at designing outfits for our modern palates. What I enjoy most about Zoetic's fashion is that their style is still blatantly influenced by the time period they left off in, but it doesn't reek of being outdated or boring. There's a delicate harmony between old & new that is so tough for newer designers to pinpoint, and Zoetic is tapped into that frequency.

Elobstabeth // lobsterbiscc
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
Lob came up through Project Runway the tried & true method: getting back up after repeated knockdowns. It's the old fashioned way. It's long, painful, and ugly... But in my opinion, it produces the most magical and resilient designers. Lob knows what it feels like to be underestimated, counted out, etc. When she designs, she creates in spite of those preconceptions. She is as hungry for salvation as I am for her buttery tail. From the stunning work I've seen Lob create in FreshFaces, as well as recent short-term stints, I know in my heart that it is only a matter of time before Lob's name is included in the conversation with the greats. She's simply too passionate to continue to ignore.

Elise // fupaqueen
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
It should come as no surprise that the CC community's most creative player, known for intricate costumes, is a natural talent in Project Runway. From the first short-term of mine Elise played, it was nothing but net. She currently holds the record (tied with icearbr) for most task wins in a season win: 4 plus finale. Elise's style is hard to pinpoint, but she has an affinity for muted and pastel colours, and silky drapes. I am often amazed at how she can seamlessly repurpose common clothing items into dreamlike garbs. She never clutters or over-accessorizes - a bad habit she must've learned to kick long ago in CCs.

Lee // gnge
Method of Cast: Applied
Why did I cast this person?
With three longterms under his belt, Lee is coming into the competition with the most experience out of everyone. However, he has been largely inactive in the PR community for roughly 2 years. The decision to cast Lee comes from my affinity for redemption. Despite never making the semi-finals, Lee is responsible for some of the best outfits in each respective longterm he partakes in. That, coupled with his hunger to prove himself against the newer designers with their newer items and styles, and I've got myself the perfect redemption candidate for Season 8. I'd tell Lee to not let me down, but I know he won't. His outfits are going to rock!

Peyton // Peyton125
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
Peyton may not be a short-term winner yet, but she's come damn close on several occasions. Strangely enough, some players simply perform better in higher stakes games like longterms. I wonder if Peyton is that type of person? Either way, she has worked her rear off in various short-terms of several hosts, carving out her namesake. Peyton is my favourite type of designer: a risk taker! I'm never bored when she's on my stage. If she can find the happy medium between her brazen risks and studied confidence, I think she'll reach new heights and surprise everyone - even herself. Good luck!

Method of Cast: Applied
Why did I cast this person?
After Season 4, I made a rule that previous winners cannot compete again in Snawlterm. Now it's Season 8 and I'm breaking the rule because no one's the boss of me, not even past me. Aqua won Season 2, but that was over 8 years ago. His style, along with Habbo fashion in general, has changed dramatically. His outfits today are virtually unrecognizable from his outfits in the past - and I mean that in the best way possible. Years ago I remember Aqua saying "I'm not reinventing, I'm just growing." It seems he keeps his word. Grow, my child! Grow forth and take Season 8 by storm!

Aqua // mickyricky
Lusealiya // SealChowderr
Method of Cast: Scouted
Why did I cast this person?
Seal is 50% of the constituency of ChowderrBisc Enterprise - a Habbo business venture she operates with Lob. Similarly to Lob, Seal entered the competitive PR scene as an underdog. However, after hours spent toiling over clothing in late-night pop-up PRs, Seal's creativity has started to emerge into the light, and into the hearts of her hosts and spectators. Hard work, resilience, and perseverance are the ingredients I used to get to where I am today, so I cannot help but be filled with pride when I see Seal in action. Gone are the days of neglecting Seal's potential. Show us what you've got!

Kelcie // Shookith
Method of Cast: Applied
Why did I cast this person?
Kelcie is the 3rd and final contestant cast from the application process. Despite only being a fixture in the community for about a month, Kelcie has done great things for the PR biosphere. She regularly hosts (and platforms other hosts) in her Project Runway - a game she began hosting before ever playing one. We love that confidence in Snawlterm! Kelcie's journey as a designer is only just starting to unfold, but with the enthusiasm she has on display in PRs and the community discord, I can't help but feel good about her. Snawlterm is lucky to foster the inception of her creative expression. Good luck!

Why was my application rejected?
Almost every application I rejected fell into one of two categories: Either you are simply too new to PR and I've never seen you perform in a shortterm, or, you are such an acclaimed veteran that I felt you would bulldoze the competition. Either way, there will be plenty of Project Runway longterm installments in the future (from other hosts as well as myself) who will happily accommodate you, whatever your situation is. Stay involved in the community!

If you feel that neither of those reasonings apply to you, feel free to reach out to me if you want clarification, and I'll give you an honest reason. Although with 11/14 castmembers being pre-selected from my scouting process, that only left a total of three open spots to be filled in from applications. My apologies, I didn't know so many people would accept my invitation to compete.
A message to the cast of Season 8:
You are all fantastic in your own individual rights - and you don't need me telling you that. The journey you're about to embark on in Snawlterm Season 8 has been designed to push you to your creative limits. You all have a 13/14 chance of losing, and the sooner you accustom yourself to that thought, the sooner you can let go of inner inhibitions and begin designing outfits from passion, and not fear. You are, most likely, going to lose. Whether that's on Week 1 or Week 10 isn't important. What is important is that you don't squander this opportunity. When you leave this competition, I want you to leave a stronger and more self-assured designer than when you entered. That's my goal for each of you.

Some of these tasks may seem like breaths of fresh air, while others might make you want to tear your hair out of your scalp. They are all capable of you showcasing your greatness if you try hard enough, as well as your demise if you're not careful. Your journey in this competition is dictated entirely by you and your approach. If you truly want this game to be fun, then it will be. But that's on you.
I hope we're all on the same page. Good luck!
