NO THEME

FIRST IMPRESSION: I am immediately taken aback by the level of detail throughout this collection; you've fit texture into every single crevice, and normally that's a bad thing because it tends to come off as pretentious or desperate, but not here at all. Each region of each outfit is handled with a level of gusto I've seldom seen from you. But at the same time, you are staying loyal to your trademark style. This is a very Zechariah -esque collection with the black negative space, the skirts & dresses, and the vibrant fluorescent colours. I have silently disliked a lot of your hair choices in previous shortterms so I am pleasantly surprised by your decision to be bald throughout. This is a very welcoming collection that evokes curiosity from me, and I can't wait to look closer and admire each individual outfit 1 by 1.
Outfit #1: Probably the "least detailed" outfit of the 5, which is astounding because this outfit still has some noteworthy details. I absolutely love your decision to use the ugly skinny jeans to give yellow cuffs at the end of your legs - in fact I predict that technique is going to get stolen and used a lot more because of this. The toga and poncho are two clothing items I have grown sick of seeing, especially at a side angle, but you've still managed to taper them immaculately to the rest of your collection. Using the natural gold strip as a bridge across your waist, linking the test of the yellow is genius. Subtle additions like the earrings and the red on the heels' platforms provide enough colour to prevent this outfit from being boring.
Outfit #2: Easily my least favourite outfit in the collection due to the sheer number of times I have seen that Indian sarong paired with at handbag from the side angle. There are a few designers (who'll remain nameless) who have beaten & butchered that combo through rampant overuse, and for me, it evokes nothing but an eyeroll unless you're doing something spectacular - which I can't say this is. On a positive note, I thoroughly enjoy the distribution of the colours. The idea to encase the perimeter of the outfit in yellow instead of black, and let the black dominate the inside, was pretty clever.
Outfit #3: My personal favourite of the collection, and I think that is a popular sentiment among everyone else who've seen your collection. What makes this outfit such a crowd pleaser is how you are using motion to warp tired fabrics into new shapes, and then dolloping colour into the crevices that form. You have done a lot of experimenting with motion lately, and this is easily your magnum opus. I also love the heavy congregation of fabrics on the face, they flare out identically to the skirt and create almost a horizontal flip illusion (like if you placed a mirror on your Habbo's waist and "flipped" the shape). Very smart, encapsulating design.
Outfit #4: I wasn't feeling this outfit initially, but I've since grown to love it, and it has become one of my favourite outfits from you this entire season. I'm willing to bet you spent a lot of time pondering whether or not to add the nude shoes, but I'm glad you did. They add a balance otherwise not achievable by using any of the other three prominent colours. It takes a lot of skill, and a deep understanding of tone to be confident in submitting something to simple and so reliant on the fabric's intrinsic texture, and I admire it greatly. The minimal red on the earring is gorgeous as well.
Outfit #5: This outfit is a much better [and a far more original] use of the long Indian drape/sarong. Once again your adventures with movement posing is elevating your work to a higher appreciation. The scarf around your neck is one of the harder scarfs to work with because of its shapeless girth, and this might very well be my favourite use of it, ever (along with Jenna's Week 3 in Majesusterm). I could be going crazy, but you seem to have added a number symbol on your back to break up the density of the fabrics and prevent the palette from growing too repetitive - if that's actually what you did, then that's friggin' incredible! Colour me impressed.
Final Verdict: I am baffled by this collection, plain & simple. Is it too late for me to increase the mandatory outfit count? Because I want more of this clothing line. Even the "weaker elements" still shine brightly on their own. To think this collection was designed by the plebe who flopped out on the first task in Season 5 is awe-inspiring, and is a true testament of how important it is to give people time to grow their skill. Your evolution as an artist over my most recent three seasons is something out of a fairy-tale novella, and regardless of where you place in this finale, I want you to be as proud of yourself as I am of you. I've already apologized several times for my harshness and vitriol towards you throughout this season, but if this collection is a product of those critiques, then I take those apologies back. I'm glad I rode your ass. I believed in you, I took a gamble, and it was worth it 100%. Exceptional work, Zechariah.

Dystopian ecopunk

FIRST IMPRESSION: Thank you for introducing me to Ecopunk, as I had no idea what it meant prior. This is a very shocking collection from you, but it makes sense given your fondness of Harri's minimal collection from last season. If your goal was to "make him proud," I am sure you've done that. Immediately I am taking note of certain clothing items/accessories often seen as forbidden in the PR circle being used in this collection, which is indicative of not only talent, but also bravery. Each of these five outfits is like twisting open one of those Christmas firecrackers, and I can't wait to go in depth of how I think about them. Let's get going!
Outfit #1: A very divisive outfit; I've shown it to a few people to mixed reactions. Luckily for you, I'm in the camp that loves it! It is actually one of my favourite outfits from you, ever. The entire bottom half is alluding to brutalism and bulky concrete architecture. The top half then showcases a more chaotic - less sturdy & grounded facet to the theme. Almost grafitti -like? The wire from the headphones drooping down and mixing with the chest decal is subtle, exquisite, and definitely not lost on me. This is a fantastic start to this collection!
Outfit #2: Not really related to your collection, but a few hours prior to your submission, I was fidgeting around in the Habbo wardrobe, trying to find a way to incorporate the back butterfly tattoo into an interesting outfit... then no less than three hours later you submit this. Is this outfit spectacular? No. However, you are utilizing several 'traditionally unappealing' accessories in newer angles and methods that furthermore highlight your talent and resourcefulness as a designer - and the outfit fits into your theme immaculately. I love the use of the white belt and the green back buckles. The silhouette is towering, sturdy, & intimidating - qualities I'd want an outfit in an Ecopunk task to have. Again, not a fantastic outfit, but I can't necessarily say it was a bad choice either. Does that make sense?
Outfit #3: A very interesting take on this theme, and I am always a sucker for motion, dances, or poses that warp the shapes of fabrics & accessories. While very subtle, I get a vague nod to Korean 'curvy' architecture like the Seoul airport. That being said, I think there was a lot more you could have done with a lying down pose than this. It's a good, competent outfit, but it lacks the pizzazz I get from other designers when they venture into the realm of lying down poses. It's also worth noting that the other four outfits of this collection feature some sort of chaotic element to them; something that makes the 'dystopian' aspect stand out, and I don't really get that from this one. It's a good outfit, but a bit too soft.
Outfit #4: This outfit harbours a lot of similarities with the previous one, but this one is far more successful which only makes me resent the other one slightly more. I find the handbag to be a bit out of place - both texturally and colour wise - but besides that, I love it. The way you married the kilt with the Indian top is ingenious and I am flabbergasted that no one else has done it before, because it seems like such an obvious choice in retrospect. The shoes are sturdy, chic, and give it the flare of colour needed but not achieved with the handbag. And once again, you are breathing vitality into otherwise tired clothing by using motion! This outfit encapsulates who you are as a designer and how much innovation you've adopted into your design style since Season 5.
Outfit #5: This is my favourite of the five, personally. I couldn't improve on it if I tried. In a collection full of neat outfits, it was really smart to throw one jumbled outfit into the mix to show the maximum damage of the theme. This outfit beautifully nails both aspects of your theme: overgrowth & brutalism. It's concrete, but also reclaimed by nature. The bottom half is gorgeous, and the dress blends with the socks and purse so successfully that a non-Habbo player would assume it is all one piece and wouldn't think twice about it. As for the top, you are using a pet peeve of mine (that jacket) in such a creative way that also lets it sing on its own. If I'm forced to nit-pick, I guess I could whine about how you used the arm tattoos for a similar colour palette on Week 3, but even then I'd be reaching, because these two outfits have almost nothing in common in terms of tone. Brilliant work!
Final Verdict: I was super excited to see your collection after you told me you've been yearning to make one since Season 5. I set a really high standard for you... and you totally delivered on it. People don't seem to understand how insanely difficult it is to do minimalism in a collection, and only when they acknowledge the treacherous upward trek, they can truly start to appreciate this collection. I want to see more collections like this, both in longterms & short, so I hope this sparks a trend. This is a beautiful art collection that offers a window into the mind of an always evolving designer at the top of his game. Thank you for this unforgettable collection, and thank you for a track record bearing many gorgeous outfits.

cherry blossoms

FIRST IMPRESSION: I love collections inspired by furni, badges, or anything that can be found on Habbo. It adds a sort of grounded loyalty to the 'art form' in a way that is almost a reality check, like "Yes, this is a virtual game. We are not real designers/artists." with the obvious exception of the ones who literally are artists irl. It's a humble collection with a very simple reference point. It is something that anyone can look at and enjoy, regardless of their level of understanding when it comes to Habbo clothing. But where you truly blossom (ba dum tiss) with this task are your outfits' individual, intricate details. This level of care, precision, and attitude is normally never found in a collection with such an accessible theme, but you somehow delivered. I am excited to unpack these outfits further!
Outfit #1: I simply love this outfit. It's my favourite of your collection, and could possibly be my favourite of all fifteen outfits submitted in this finale. Each outfit in this collection features textures coinciding with the sakura tree, but this one with its brilliant blossoming effect at the waist is unbelievably fascinating. The layering of the pinks, ending with the hot pink on the shoes is very pleasant to look at. The brown could have easily been left on the back burner and treated as negative space by a lesser designer, but you gave it enough texture & personality to really make the outfit appear complete. Magnificent work, and one hell of a way to begin a collection!
Outfit #2: Another very strong showing, but also very tonally consistent with outfit #1, so it was a great idea to showcase this one next. While I am not thrilled about some of the accessory choices on the top half, I find your bottom half delightfully delicate. The motion from the gown and the outward flare from the ombre shirt are such a serene, breath-taking combination. You design with such precision, I'd be guessing you have been in Habbo fashion longer than me. This outfit has a simplistic maturity to it - despite a boisterous colour palette - and by this point I'm completely engrossed in these clothes, and can't wait to avert my eye further to the right to see what else you have in store for the viewer. You have me simply transfixed, Jenna.
Outfit #3: I find myself going back & forth on this one. At first I didn't like it because I found it lacking the same tone the rest of the outfits had. I've warmed up to it slightly, acknowledging that nature is chaotic and this outfit could simply be a demonstration of what can occur to a sakura tree, naturally. I am in awe of the top half, mainly the use of the veil's side decal in tandem with the scarf. You are a designer who truly appreciates every item or accessory she gets her hands on, and I admire that. However, I find myself being repelled by the hippie gown. Though its colours are beautiful, I just don't find it to be a smart design choice. It's a very difficult item to work with and I applaud you for trying, though.
Outfit #4: Right around here is where I would've liked to see a new shoe choice presented. I am engrossed by the intricate details with the head/face attachments, and I always love it when hair is incorporated to be part of the outfit itself. However, everything about this outfit from below the neck is underwhelming, and nothing to write home about. I understand the need to have a more simplistic approach, but I do not feel like the final result is original, necessary to the collection, or at all indicative of your capabilities as a designer. It's rather boring, actually. Smarter decisions involving texture would have served this piece better.
Outfit #5: A rather lovely ending. I appreciate the shoe change to a more appropriate shape for the jeans, which give off a sturdy, grounded-in-earth aesthetic contrary to the more wavy, gracious outfits. The black hat was a smart use of black to shade out/shrink the canvas. While not obvious, I do find myself liking the shoulder pad jacket because of the necessary white fluffs, and it leaves the road open for the brilliantly executed subtle frill on the waist. I even enjoy the scarf choice, surprisingly. It plays into the earrings well, and resuscitates the colour palette in an area of the outfit that if left untreated, could've been swallowed up entirely by black & grey. Quite a smart design overall.
Final Verdict: I had trepidation over your entry into the finale, due to the competition you were going up against: two hungry black jacket redemption-seekers who've been itching to make a collection for years. My fear was that you would have gotten stomped out - an outcome that most certainly didn't happen. Regardless of the final rankings for this season, you delivered a collection that was wildly entertaining, fascinating, and cohesive to the pixel in not only colour and tone, but also texture and composition. Most designers design with their hearts, but you approach tasks with an envious balance of both heart & brain, and that combination has lead you to discovering some truly remarkable patterns. You've soared quickly up the ranks to become one of this community's most sought-after designers, and with one glance at this collection, it is easy to see why.

Decisions have been made...
The designer finishing in third place is. . .
*highlight box to reveal name
-- jenna --
I am incredibly proud of you for everything you have accomplished in this game. Especially given your minimal wardrobe and lack of experience, this placement is extremely impressive. I have no doubt you will continue to be a hot fixture in this community, and your skills will only grow to be more refined. Thank you for choosing Snawlterm, and good luck in Majesusterm - not that you need it, seeing as you are currently kicking my ass. Congratulations!
This next decision is hard. I can easily see both of you winning. I went back & forth on this decision for weeks.
But now, I've made up my mind.
The winner of Snawlterm Season 7 is. . .
--zechariah--
Congratulations Zechariah, you are officially a Snawlterm champion!
This collection you've submitted has been lauded by many as the best collection ever entered in a PR longterm, and after evaluating it, I can easily see where they are coming from. Your win has been a long time coming, and all those hours poured into shortterms have paid off. I am more than happy to crown you Season 7's champion, and to hand you the 300c prize!
Filip... if Zechariah's collection is a 10, then yours is a 9.997. The two of you were so close, and it is the primary reason why this finale took so long. Going back & forth between the two of you has been, hands down, the hardest decision I've ever had to make as a host. You are both deserving of being LT winners, and although this wasn't your season to take the crown, I do believe that moment will come to you one way or another. I am happy to go on record to say that your collection was better than Arber's Season 3 winner, better than Kait's Season 5 winner, and in several ways, superior to Daryl's monumental Season 6 collection. You should be feeling nothing but pride for yourself right now.
