The Finalists of Season 9

Alas, I have my final three. Joey, Elysse, Filip, congratulations!
Making it to the finale in a long-term is an extremely difficult feat... but to do it twice is a different beast entirely. That's right, all three of you are former Snawlterm finalists who've received 2nd place in the past.

(Totally unplanned btw (or was it? (no seriously it wasn't)))

For one of you, redemption is in the air. All three of you have delivered absolutely stunning collections in the past, and now you gotta do it all again. Same hoops, same stress, same impending deadline. I wish the three of you the best of luck.

I am re-activating outfit advice for one more outfit each, per collection. If I were you, I would wait till your collection is mostly assembled before submitting an outfit for advice, that way I can judge it against the cohesiveness of its kin.

The rules for Season 9's finale are the exact same as last season, and are as follows:

  • Any possible pose is allowed

  • Retro items, clothing generators, and glitches are allowed

  • Nothing immersion-breaking is allowed (IE a glitch that detaches your head, etc)

  • Furni, green screens, filters, and any type of photo editing are not allowed

  • I will allow clothing-based effects from .com (masks, helmets, etc)

  • The more original your theme is, the better your chances are

  • You must create a name for your collection, as well as a brief description to be presented alongside your outfits at the final panel

  • Your finale outfits must be photographed in pristine quality. If you need help, I will happily photograph you myself

  • You can show prototypes to whomever you want, but do not attempt to ask any of my guest judges for help or advice

  • As always, I can still answer finale-related questions that do not pertain to outfits or specific creative choices

  • Your collection's background presentation will be determined by me, so you don't need to create a set (*cough Elysse*)

  • Your collection can feature 4, 5, or 6 outfits, the choice is yours.

Season 9 has drawn to a conclusion. The three of you have fought valiantly, and are responsible (once again) for three phenomenal collections, each of which is a tour de force of fashion, and whom I could effortlessly see winning this competition. As I said above, all three of you are previous Snawlterm runner-up finishers, and so it brings me great pleasure to not only have you all back in a finale, but to crown one of you as a newly minted champion!

This season was a triumph in terms of outfit quality submitted week to week. The three of you - as well as the rest of the cast - made me a very lucky host! Regardless of how this finale plays out, I hope you each can award yourselves a semblance of pride and congratulations for clawing your way to the finale, and for the wealth of strong outfits each of you are responsible for. Even though I can only crown one winner, there is no denying that the three of you each performed like winners in your own right. With that said, let's judge these collections!

This collection is inspired by Loreen’s song and performance ”Tattoo”. I first heard and saw it when my life battery was at about 3%. I was mentally, physically and emotionally drained. For me, the intro of Tattoo mirrored that somehow. Loreen lies in what looks like a battery, in a state similar to a warrior attempting to rest and heal their wounds. Personally, Tattoo was and still is a great source of energy. Tattoo is about telling a lover you found on your journey that the time isn’t right, but whenever it is, you will reunite. It’s about coming back with greater force than what you thought was physically possible. I got to see Loreen perform Tattoo live in Liverpool and seeing/hearing it was one of the best moments in my life. As she hits the final refrain, it’s as if she causes an explosion of energy - or a shockwave - that I felt go through my body, thus the name of the collection. Enjoy!

It takes a lot of strength to be open & vulnerable about past adversities - especially in an environment like Habbo where losers too often can weaponize it against you. Many of history's most profound artists had elements of masochism behind their inspiration, and so it doesn't surprise me that you'd want to take a hardship and reflect it in a collection. What catches my eye about this presentation is how you put the four eye-grabbing outfits in the middle and flanked them with the two less loud outfits. It's a sort of visual trick that forces the viewer to appreciate all 6 outfits, rather than enabling them to skim over some to get to others with more intricate patterns or bolder colours. Finally, I love that this collection is inspired by a real life moment of euphoria (pun intended) that would normally be impossible for an outsider to experience. Your feelings in that moment have transcended the realm of personal experience through your collection, and now they can be experienced by everyone. Very Van Gogh of you to take a tribulation and turn it into profound beauty.

9FinaleFilip1.png

Interesting. I call this outfit "cleaning out the meat grinder." This outfit didn't speak too much to me upon submission, but after a few days mulling it over, I've grown to like it and appreciate its inhuman presentation. The fluffy orange texture under your hair (a beard?) blends in perfectly with the frilly red fabrics of the belt & wedding gown. I've grown sick of that celestial top in this competition very quickly due to its overuse in the first three weeks, however, I must say I love your use of it here. It doesn't immediately stand out as the overused item it is, it forces the viewer to get a bit cerebral and consider what could be under the hair to give that dripping effect. The only aspects of this outfit I don't love are the head accessories. I understand their purpose but I feel their inclusion takes away more than they add. Otherwise, this is a solid start!

Your colour palette throughout this whole collection is astonishing, but it is especially captivating on this outfit in particular. You know when to dial it back and not reward the audience too much - you show just enough pink & orange to make us beg on our knees for more - but if you did give us more, it would become over-saturated and the palette would lose its pizzazz. Instead you leave us blue balled and whimpering. The apron, norm skirt, and new socks are a trifecta of vertical lines that make the eye do a double take to make sure it is capturing all the magic there is to observe. Genuinely one of the best uses of the head-spinning-around effect I've ever seen in an LT. Also love the white earrings too. This is stellar work, great job.

9FinaleFilip2.png
9FinaleFilip3.png

It's been a while since I've seen some truly innovative head accessory blending, so thank you for that. I also love how you didn't neglect the pink flower on the shoulder. Your floral blouse, yellow dress, and apron are layered exquisitely and they present themselves like a match made in heaven. The motion pose you settled on is helping the underlayers poke out from the apron; the apron easily could have boxed them in and made everything look "off" but you avoided that effect perfectly. The bear paw neck accessory is controversial but I love it, both on this outfit and in general. The muted blue only augments the yellow underneath and makes it all the more special. What would I change about this outfit? It's a flaw so minor it almost isn't even worth mentioning, but the black socks I feel are slightly at odds with the ends of the blouse & dress. I would have chosen a simpler heel, personally. Regardless, this outfit is basically flawless and it stands as a testament to your artistic genius.

Despite this outfit not possessing any technical marvel, it's actually my favourite of your collection (probably because I have an affinity to long sleeves + skirts; see my base Habbo outfit.) You used the floral handbag twice in this collection, but both uses are at different angles and showcase very different, very resourceful integrations of said item. I love that the black is tapering the orange while the pattern is reinforcing the purple. The bohemian bag acts as a mediator between the two aforementioned items, and then it is platformed by a gorgeous, bold, and unexpected dash of yellow. This is probably the most wearable, commercial outfit Snawlterm has had in a long time, and yet it doesn't lose its flare against the others, nor does it look boring or pedestrian. This is nothing short of a homerun.

9FinaleFilip4.png
9FinaleFilip5.png

I love the bottom half of this outfit, sadly the top is a bit stale. Using a black beard to conceal the canvas worked on your 2nd outfit because you forced the visual elements that weren't cohesive with the vertical lines out of sight. On this outfit however, the black beard just reduces the size of your canvas for seemingly no reason. The orange + gray underneath the bottom of the beard look really nice and I want to see what you could have done with them. As for the lower half of the outfit, the gold patterns are absolutely sublime. This is like a twister of mesh, bejeweled fabrics, and/or a gold spangled gown, and I love the technical craftsmanship and movement pose used to achieve it. Overall a beautiful outfit, I just wish the upper half stood up to the lower half.

While this is my least favourite outfit of this collection, I still enjoy it a lot and I feel this collection is stronger with it, as opposed to without it. For reasons I can't quite pinpoint, this outfit would be more enjoyable if it were the furthest to the left. This and #1 should switch spots. As I'm sure you know, I am 110% over the cyberpunk wings in both long-terms and short. However, you have just rejuvenated my appreciation for its hard, scraggly, exoskeletal design. The suspender's strap laying overtop is nice, but it's that bow underneath (from an apron?) that is really letting the wings take on a new silhouette. The colour coordination between the three aforementioned items is perfection. The head accessories are ambiguous and domineering but I like it because it throws some mystery & spice into the collection that was otherwise straight-forward up until this point. I am mildly concerned over the gown's lower half; it's very bulbus and lacks texture, but perhaps you needed that sort of emotionless black canvas for the bony accessories to be as visually stunning as they are. All in all, this was a very weird and unexpected way to cap off your collection, but I like it a lot!

Final Verdict

Fuschia Flower Print

You have a rich history of unforgettable collections: Season 7's Ecopunk, Desert Rebirth from your 3rd Lidlterm season, and most recently your collection from FreshFaces 2. Needless to say, I was very excited to watch you land a spot in this finale because I knew a breath-taking presentation was on its way - and you delivered! You cut yourself open and bled all over this collection, and it's that raw, visceral, unmistakably human-who's-weathered-some-shit genesis that gives the collection such stopping power. I genuinely don't think your colour palette could have been achieved by somebody just idly scrolling through a colour wheel and slapping stuff wherever they see fit to. Tortured poets are overrated, you're a redeemed sage! Regardless of how you score in this finale, I know you're proud as hell for what you achieved throughout this game, and especially proud for this magnificent collection you've gifted my season with (as you should be.) Thank you Filip once again for attending Snawlterm and bringing the house down! Good luck.

My collection was inspired by the colors and textures of contemporary Spanish colonial revival architecture so often found in my home city of Miami, but seen through the composition of avant-garde Japanese streetwear that I became interested in ahead of my upcoming trip to Japan. I focused on embracing the textures and forms together to create something I felt best represented my style and evolution through this long-term.

This collection shouldn't work. On paper, it sounds like a hot mess. Only three colours divided among six outfits? Trendy residential architecture filtered through Japanese streetwear? Like nty. However, I think I can speak for everybody when I say this collection is cohesive, visionary, and high-fashion! You made gold from nothing, which is far more impressive than anything I've seen recently. This collection has no business being this great. Not only is it stunning and engaging to stare at, but it's educational too. I had no idea this style of material was called Spanish colonial - my only experience with it is from Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2 because the houses where I live look nothing like this. Most of all though, I am in love with the backstory behind this collection. You couldn't think of a theme, so you took a midnight walk, and it was then & there where you connected your impending trip to Japan with your neighbourhood surroundings, and birthed this chimera of an idea. I asked for originality and you definitely gave me that. Time to critique!

Putting the most tame outfit first was really smart, because the rest of this collection is extremely detailed and so this one serves as a bit of a palate cleanser (or anal lubricant if you will.) These six outfits each feature gestures of green, and this outfit's small, hard-to-notice wisp on the sides of the head is very adorable. The baggy snow pants don't sound like a good idea, but the quarters from the top blouse extending down do a great job at trimming them to fit the outfit's theme. Everything is smoothened out, like the stucco used on Spanish revival buildings. The shoulder accessories are really intricately layered and give the overall outfit a bit of a sturdy, building-like demeanor. Personally I would have inverted the browns and put the more muted hue in the middle and the darker, saturated brown on the outlines, but that's just me. Great start!

9FinaleJoey1.png
9FinaleJoey2.png

So this is my least favourite outfit of the collection, and a big contributor to that is the ponytail blending into the feather cowl. It looks neat at first, but begins to age poorly for every extra second I spend staring at it. I certainly understand the intent behind the decision, but the rest of the hairstyle works against the clay tile effect (especially the bangs in front of your Habbo's face.) I also dislike the incorporation of this outfit's green. The leaves are understandable but the blindfold is just a bit too silly for my taste. I like how this outfit's stucco seems to be divided vertically, but the handbag and baggy coat sleeve feel they would be more appropriate as clay rather than smooth plaster. For the positives, the pants & shoes are nice and I love the idea of the brown tail extending the feather cowl. Overall a good outfit but it doesn't hold its own against the rest of the collection, for my money anyway. Sorry.

A lovely and loyal contribution to this collection for sure. It features one of the more innovative use of the green foliage, and I love the saturated, mid-drying effect achieved on the clay by using two shades of brown intertwining with each other.
I don't particularly love the walking pose because your shoe instead looks like you're about to slip on an overripe banana. My biggest complaint for this outfit however, is how many similarities it shares with Chris' Week 8 nebula outfit. Same coat, same angle, same motion pose, similar hood, similar scarf. Now I've seen first-hand how painstakingly hard you combed over this collection, and I know you're far too smart & careful to ever attempt plagiarism - so I won't accuse you of it, and your final score will suffer no penalty. I'll chalk this up to parallel thinking (you did mention how you & Chris compared outfits prior to submitting) and use this as another example of why it is important to be mindful of what your fellow competitors submit. Sometimes our brains hold onto concepts and we trick ourselves into thinking they are original.

9FinaleJoey3.png
9FinaleJoey4.png

This look is very unconventional for your theme and some may even say messy, but I appreciate the chaos it shakes up, and I am glad you put it near the centre of your presentation. Like your previous outfit, the saturation of the brown hues is taking on a life of their own. What I really love however are the uneven beige cylinders from the pants & scarf. This is a scrambled Rubik's Cube of an outfit! Putting the green on the heel was also a nice way of keeping the shuffled theme, and preventing this outfit from becoming too rote. Nothing to criticize for this one, nice work.

I am absolutely in love with this outfit. This is how you use hair as a fabric! The scarf and headscarf are doing their job with the vertical bisection, but your ingenious use of the angle to get away with a slimming amount of green foliage, yet using proportions and vanishing points to give the impression that green is actually 50% of this outfit, is spectacular. I also really love the layered clay effect on the right with the browns. All of the outfits in this collection have brilliant uses of browns but this one in particular makes me hungry for chocolate cake. Brilliant use of boots, and I love the waist frills. I'm just now realizing that green shit at the bottom is the dino tail; I thought it was a glitched dessert apron inverted or something. This is a really great outfit and one I feel summarizes this whole collection exceptionally well. You should be proud of it.

9FinaleJoey5.png
9FinaleJoey6.png

This is my favourite outfit from you all season long. The small geometric shapes spattered around the upper torso each look like individual handfuls of clay slapped onto the canvas like construction workers assembling a clay roof in the hot Miami sun. This reminds me of being a kid and playing with wet sand on the beach and observing how different clumps of sand took on different shades based on their water content. Then we get Chocolate Cake 2.0 with the dress & blouse combo, both of whom fit the other like perfect puzzle pieces. I also love the overbearing face scarf and how it awkwardly invites itself into becoming part of that smooth trench coat retro thing. Then of course you can't walk away without that subtle kiss of dark green on the heels - which for me - make this whole outfit so much more easy and refreshing to stare at. There is a psychological component at play that I am not educated enough to identify, but I feel the reprieve of green at the very bottom is "lifting" this outfit's palette and preventing it from getting lost in itself. Ultimately this is an unapologetic outfit that achieves precisely what you set out to achieve with this theme, but with really weird and unconventional items. Fantastic!

Final Verdict

Fuschia Flower Print

To prep myself for judging this finale, I thought way back to your journey to the final two in Snawlterm Season 4 during the spring/summer of 2016. I remembered how controversial it was; how you started at the bottom, how you expressed frustration with feeling your art wasn't being appreciated, how a few vocal detractors criticized everything you did, and criticized me for putting you in the finale. And although you didn't win, I always felt like you embodied Season 4 so strongly, and ultimately left a better designer, and I left feeling like a better host. Cut to present day, and your Season 9 journey could not be more different. You were consistently solid through-out the entire competition, and nobody once doubted your abilities or talent. Normally I dislike it when old-gen designers "discover" retro clothing because the transition is always rusty and inconsistent. That definitely is not the case with you however, because your collection is something I fully intend to check back on in the future as time goes by. Some collections age like wine, and your ability to master strange clothing articles that the rest of us are still trying to acclimate ourselves to is nothing short of artistic wizardry. You've shown the community who you are as an artistic mind, and I cannot be more grateful that you returned to us.

To Brad, Mucha Love, From Elysse

As a graphic designer, I have always loved the work of Alphonse Mucha. The way he used detailed elements to add to tell a story and compliment the woman who was always the centrepiece of his art is just so bloody brilliant in my opinion. For this reason, I wanted to capture some of the grace that he brings through his artwork in my collection. Creating designs which nod to some of his stylistic elements he used to frame the classic 'mucha woman'. For me, this meant experimenting with floral elements, capturing flowy materials, and playing around with less clothing across the body to emphasize the beauty of the model beneath. The looks in this collection don't hold all of these ideas in one piece, but instead are taking from these parts to work together as a whole.

First Impression

I love outfits inspired by artists. I do it all the time in short-terms & long-terms, and even once in a Miniterm - and I have no plans of stopping any time soon. If I can broaden somebody's artistic horizon and help them find themselves all while bringing attention to an unsung genius, that's a job well done in my book. So for you to do it for me, honestly, it warms my heart. I've never heard of Alphonse Mucha before, and I can now assure you I'll never forget him. Your approach to this artist's work makes me think back to my Lidlterm 3 finale collection where I commemorated Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh. What I find interesting about your final product is how you stuck with a rigid colour palette and did not inspire your outfits on any particular artwork of his. You were inspired by his motifs and trends, not any literal art. This isn't an Alphonse Mucha collection; it's an Elysse collection being viewed through a Mucha lens; a kaleidoscope of his most recognizable trademarks and reoccurring visual tells, but on your canvas filtered through your mind.

9FinaleElysse1.png

A very intriguing way to start off the collection. This is a side of you I rarely see; I don't normally think of disjointed silhouettes and copious amounts of nudity when I think of an Elysse outfit... but I like the reinvention! The scarf & head bow work extremely well together and I'm a bit confused as to why this is the first time I've seen this pairing (get ready for it to be spammed in short-terms ugh.) The convex shapes of purple on the chest and protruding from the back are as lovely and sumptuous as the flowy fabrics above. I'm a bit unsure how I feel about the lower half of this outfit. The blue belt is pleasing to look at when you focus on the top of the pants, but in comparison to the rest of the outfit I find it a tad jarring? The heels I love. The pants though - if they can even be called pants - are a bit strange. I don't protest their addition to the outfit because they're certainly consistent, but the sideways presentation of bare thighs and potential ass cheek are a bit strange and counter-intuitive on an outfit whose intimate parts on the upper half are so meticulously covered. I'm not a prude, I love nudity and feel there should be more of it. On this particular presentation, it strikes me as a bit unfinished. I still love the outfit though.

This outfit is so fun & inviting. I wanna buy it and gift it to someone in my life. Your use of the retro logo for a nude effect on the chest is brilliant, and the handbag's strap obscures the image just enough. I really love the selection of the uneven, sloping top, and how the jagged belt complements the angle of attack. The pastel red below on the fluffy skirt is also great, and adds another element of happy vibrancy to this outfit that I found to appealing to begin with. My "issue" with this outfit has nothing to do with the outfit itself which I believe is lovely and perfectly fitted. When I look at this outfit amongst the other four in this collection, I can't help but feel it's a bit disjointed from your overall goal. It's got nothing to do with its darker, more muted palette (in fact I like that discrepancy.) Maybe this outfit just doesn't scream Mucha to me as loudly as the others? Or maybe it does but I just want something a bit more grandiose.

9FinaleElysse2.png
9FinaleElysse3.png

Hahahah yesss! This is amazing. I love the pure, unadulterated red fabric on the gown and how you let it just spill onto the ground. Your toe looks like a Vienna sausage. You're using the backwards pose very effectively because the maid top and subsequent accessories are coloured & layered in a way that is familiar but interesting and not derivative. The rainbow wings carry the spontaneity of the flower crown to the rest of the outfit without looking like unicorn vomit. Putting the baby blue flower accessory in the middle is actually working for me? I like that it cuts up the flowers to make the crown look less familiar. This is one of those occasions where using hair as an additional fabric would have been really cool, and it's a bit of a lost opportunity that you didn't resort to doing that. Either way, the outfit itself is lovely, fun, and is jam packed with Mucha leitmotifs. I'm a happy flower picker!

When using a backpack that's this distinct and distracting, the most obvious way to incorporate it into an outfit is to reinforce its colour(s) with more yellow to help it bleed into the outfit and look more like a conscious decision. You did not do that at all... and I love it to death. This is one of the rare cases wherein I cannot quite explain my reasonings other than "It's pretty, it scratches the itch." The showy, front-&-centre nature of the heart backpack is just making me love those wings and spaghetti textures underneath even more. This is also, for me, the brightest signifier of an Alphonse Mucha outfit of the five. Despite that, it still looks more in line with the collection than a direct tribute to him - and that's a great thing given that your end goal wasn't to duplicate him per se, just to be inspired by him rather. I also love the blue heels. The pixel art is a bit messy and jank but it matches the choppy textures above perfectly. If this outfit was submitted on Week 1, you would've easily made Top 3, possibly winning the week. Stellar work!

9FinaleElysse4.png
9FinaleElysse5.png

This outfit's silhouette and sagging fabrics are very much in the vein of an Alphonse Mucha art piece. The flower wreath headpiece thing is a bit obvious but it's not hurting your presentation. The Tinky-Winky decapitated head is definitely jarring when up against your other textures, but its resourcefulness and originality outweigh its creep factor. The boot heels I love, but I question their cohesive value to the rest of the collection. This is a very innovative outfit that makes use of some weird items in near seamless ways. Sadly, I feel the colour palette is setting you back a bit. Every other outfit in this collection has a tiny splash of a tertiary colour to give body & depth to the palette. This outfit could have really used that, especially since it's the last outfit and so our eyes are used to the trend established by the proceeding four. Frankly I would have loved it if you threw us a curveball and did an outfit with absolutely no red at all, like a monochrome marigold or baby blue. Still, this is a beautiful homage to both Mucha's style as well as your own. It's a strong end piece to a strong collection. Well done.

Final Verdict

Fuschia Flower Print

Much like your previous collection of Slipping Under in Season 8, this collection is a stunning, visually striking tour de force of colour, shading, accessorizing, and item composition. I love that you didn't lose your creative fingerprint when emulating another artist; something many Habbo designers mistakenly do. Your command of retro items is so deft, it would lead one to believe you design for these retros and specifically made these items for this task itself. That level of precision is only achievable through hours & hours of painstaking work as one toils through the inflated wardrobes of Fresh, trying hundreds, if not thousands of item combinations. Your hard work clearly paid off as this collection once again paints you, Elysse, as an incredible gem of a designer; a winner among winners. A one-of-a-kind designer who soared up the rankings in such a startlingly small amount of time. This is your 3rd time in a PR long-term finale despite only playing in four. Need anybody say more?

Conclusion

A truly phenomenal finale, brought to us by three fearless, unstoppable designers each in their prime. This final presentation is one for the history books. Before I reveal the placements, I want to once again state how incredible the three of you have been. Without tooting my own horn, this was arguably the most stacked, talented, and highly competitive Prject Runway long-term in history. To survive is impressive enough, and to dominate and claw your way into the Top 3 is a massive victory in and of itself.

The three of you have all lost in a Snawlterm finale before, and after reviewing these three unforgettable collections, it really feels disgusting that I have to re-open those wounds right now for two of you. All three of these collections are worthy of winning, let's get that straight. And so before I reveal the placements, I must ask each of you to once again forgive me, and mentally prepare to lose, because it's the more likely possibility.

final words

"You guys collectively blew the lid off of my expectations! I can see each of you in your collections, and it's truly a treat to see three very different aesthetics on display! No matter who wins, you should all be so very proud of yourselves. I am ready to pass on my crown to the lucky winner, but no promises I won't try to steal it back one day ;P"
 - Zoetic (Slur) Season 8 champion

"FILIP - My eye went straight to the 2nd look, and after looking at this with the 1st look, I kid you not but images of Loreen instantly went rushing through my head... And learning that it's actually inspired by her makes complete sense, I think it's because I relate to this theme so much.. anyway I don't have much time so your outfits and the immense detail and manipulation of items you have gone through to create these such effects on each one is hugely applaudable, so proud and happy for you!
JOEY - First thing that I was compelled by was the boldness and the movement of these outfits, they work so well as a collection, and also singularly. The colour choices to the fabrics make it clearly apparent that you have put so much effort into this being so cohesive. Out of this season, I feel you have had the most fight in you, you have truly pushed yourself out of your comfort zone and held your own, I cannot wait to see what you do next.
ELYSSE - You are truly a beacon of light.. this collection really just promotes so much joy. Each outfit a celebration of its own, to come together as one huge celebration, and that's exactly what your theme is basically.. a celebration of an artist. You are also one who really hammers down on posing, that last pose has never been seen before, she's just chilling up against a wall. You never fail to make us feel happy when you design <3"

 - Harri (.Uhu) Season 6 runner-up
pixel artist, trusted advisor

"Snawl asked me to type a congratulatory paragraph but instead I wasted his time by pitching a bunch of really tacky ideas before ultimately sending three ambiguous GIFs that made no sense and confused everyone."

Elysse (LC22)

Well done, Elysse. You did amazingly well for two Snawlterms in a row, winning three tasks yet again in your intense run. As the weeks went by, you were consistently the one we were most excited to see at panel due to your bold decisions brought to every task. You never once left us bored or underwhelmed.
Sadly, you will not be the winner of Season 9. This decision mostly comes down to how I feel your collection - while fantastic - didn't explore the depths of your central idea as deep as it could have. Doing five outfits was a good idea, but like I said in your critique, I wish you threw at least one curveball into the mix to help maintain the artistic stamina. The predictability of the colour palette hurt you a tiny bit more with every passing outfit.

That being said, it's still a jaw-dropping collection that everybody loved.

You have every reason to be proud of everything you've achieved, and I am more than happy to hand you the 2nd runner-up prize of 100c next time we see each other online. Till then, take care, and thank you once again for choosing Snawlterm to showcase your brilliance. <3
